We are recruiting for a Support Worker
We are looking for a caring and professional person to join our Kenward Community staff team who preferably has experience of working within Drug and Alcohol services or similar fields such as Offender Services, Mental Health or Homeless Charities.
We are looking for an individual who can support our Recovery Worker team and our residents who are experiencing difficulties as a consequence of drug and alcohol misuse. Our residents are receiving primary stage treatment at our residential rehabilitation setting in Yalding near Maidstone, Kent. There is a high level of driving residents to appointments, so applicants must be able to drive an automatic car and have a clean licence.

Applicants must have the Care Certificate or show willing to complete this within the first four weeks of employment.
This a full time permanent role that runs on a 5-week rolling rota from Monday to Sunday.
There will be 2 types of shifts A= 12.5 hours, 7:45am to 8:15pm and B = 7.5 hours, 9am to 5pm.
Totalling 37.5 hours per week .
This is a demanding but a rewarding role and candidates need to be able to work well under pressure, be able to think quickly and use their own initiative. We require strong team players who can build relationships with Residents and embrace diversity .
