A brand new exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Resettlement team

Kenward Trust are looking to recruit for a brand-new post. We would like to find an experienced, professional, fun, person centred candidate to join our Resettlement Team. The post is as a Resettlement Activities Worker and is initially a part time post for 3 days a week.

They will be co-ordinating and facilitating activities and workshops for resettlement engaged with our Stage 2 and Stage 3 accommodation services.

We are looking for candidates with experience of working within related sectors such as: Drug and alcohol treatment, Homelessness, Supported Housing or Criminal Justice.

You will work in a trauma informed manner facilitating activity sessions and workshops to our residents who are in recovery from substance/alcohol addiction, across a range of accommodation services. The role encompasses working with external partners to maximise the number of opportunities for the residents within our projects and within the community. The activities will need to include areas such as art, physical health and mental wellbeing

This is an exciting time to join the team, working across services that are mainly based in West Kent (Wateringbury, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells) where we have just opened our 14 bed Stage 2 service in High Brooms, Tunbridge Wells and are looking to open further stage 3 accommodation in the coming months. You will play an active part in supporting our residents to remain within their active recovery and move on to independent accommodation.

Starting salary of £14,040 (£23,400 FTE)

3 days a week, part-time post – flexibility on days. The majority of the sessions will be from our projects in Colebrook Road, Tunbridge Wells, Pelican Court, Wateringbury and occasionally from Uckfield, East Sussex
