An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our Resettlement Team

Kenward Trust is seeking an experienced, professional, fun and person-centred candidate to join our Resettlement Team as a Resettlement Activities Worker. This part-time role is for three days per week, with flexibility over the working days.

You will coordinate and facilitate activities and workshops for residents engaged with our Stage 2 and Stage 3 accommodation services.

We are looking for candidates with experience in a related sector, such as drug and alcohol treatment, homelessness, supported housing or criminal justice.

Working in a trauma-informed way, you will deliver activity sessions and workshops for residents recovering from drug and alcohol addiction across our accommodation services. You will also work with external partners to maximise opportunities for residents within our projects and the wider community. Activities will cover areas such as art, physical health and mental wellbeing.

This is an exciting time to join our team and work across services mainly based in West Kent, including Wateringbury, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. You will play an active role in helping residents sustain their recovery and progress towards independent accommodation.

Salary: £16,200 (£13.85 per hour)

Part-time: three days per week, with flexibility over working days. Most sessions will take place at our projects in Colebrook Road and London Road in Tunbridge Wells, Pelican Court in Wateringbury, and occasionally in Uckfield, East Sussex.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
