Classic Car Show Success!
Kenward Trust are celebrating their 55th Anniversary in many ways, including their Classic & Coffee meet-ups on the third Sunday of each month and on Sunday 24th September hundreds of people turned up to visit the Classic Car Show.
75 Classic cars and 10 bikes turned up to display their vehicles, and there were stalls, food and entertainment for the public to enjoy. Locals certainly enjoyed the day and took advantage of the fine September weather.
Vehicles included a DeLorean, Classic minis, Cadillacs, 1971 Austin Ambulance, Classic MGs, Porsches, Triumph Spitfire 1800, Harley Davidsons to name but a few.
Penny Williams CEO of Kenward Trust says, “We were thrilled at the response, with 75 Classics Cars and several bikes attending, we were relieved with the good weather! Many of our Classics visitors didn’t know we are a charitable rehabilitation centre, and everyone was incredibly supportive wanting to learn more about how we save lives and offer the ray of hope and support so needed for recovery.
Overall, we were thrilled with the turn out of classics and public, we can’t wait for our Christmas Fayre November 25th, to welcome back stall holders and families to see Kenward in its full festive spirit.”
