Kenward Trust Raises £5000 at Classic Motor Show 2025

Kenward Trust is thrilled to announce the success of its Annual Classic Motor Show, which took place on Sunday 1st June within the beautiful grounds of Kenward Place in Yalding. The much-anticipated event raised an impressive £5000, all of which will support the Trust’s vital work in addiction recovery treatment and education programmes in schools with the Think Differently programme.

Now in its eighth year, the Classic Motor Show has become a popular event, drawing classic vehicle enthusiasts and families from across the region. This year’s event built on the momentum of previous years, with over 80 classic cars, motorbikes, and campervans on display. Attendees enjoyed a relaxed day filled with live music, craft stalls, and delicious food.

Penny Williams, CEO of Kenward Trust, commented on the importance of the event:

"As one of Kenward Trust’s key fundraising events, the Classic Motor Show plays a crucial role in supporting the lifesaving work we do. This includes the impactful programmes delivered by our Youth Services Team, who work in schools across Kent and Medway to educate young people on the dangers of alcohol and substance misuse."

The event was further distinguished by the presence of the newly appointed Mayor of Maidstone, Martin Round, whose support underscored the community's commitment to the Trust's mission.

Kenward Trust extends heartfelt thanks to all attendees, volunteers, stallholders, and vehicle owners who helped make the day such a resounding success. The funds raised will directly benefit individuals on their journey to recovery, empowering them to transform their lives.
