Robert's Ben Nevis fundraiser Hike

At Kenward Trust, our dedicated team of volunteers support us in many different ways with our life changing work. One of our volunteers recently embarked on an epic challenge to climb the summit of Ben Nevis. We were honored when Rob committed to this challenge to aid in fundraising for Kenward Trust.

On 23rd March, Rob and his group of 15 successfully completed the grueling hike to the mountain’s peak and back in just over seven hours. Rob recounted the final ascent as incredibly demanding, battling harsh conditions including -17 degree wind chills and relentless snow blizzard. Despite facing additional challenges due to his health condition, scoliosis, which causes him pain and discomfort, Rob pressed on with unwavering determination.

Rob's motivation to help Kenward Trust in our mission stemmed from his personal connection to our cause. Having experienced firsthand the devastating effects of addiction through the loss of loved ones.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rob for undertaking this challenge for us. His commitment and perseverance serve as a true inspiration.

If you would like to make a donation, please visit Rob’s JustGiving page, which is still open.
