Jane Wenban, HR & Training Manager

Jane started her career in Retail Buying for Sainsburys Homebase purchasing glue and wallpaper for the 60 odd stores that they had at the time in the mid eighties! She then moved to Woolworths buying umbrellas, canvas bags and shoes. Then onto Duty Free Shoppers buying fine jewellery and fine leather handbags for Gatwick Airport and the Trocedero in Piccadilly. Finally becoming Production Manager and Buyer for a Hosiery company based in Mayfair working across Italy and the UK..

After a career break to raise a family and working part time for Visit Britain, she joined Kenward Trust firstly as a volunteer in 2011 and then taking up a role in the HR department in 2015.

Jane became the HR & Training Manager in 2018 and today is proud to look after the amazing team of 73 staff and 35 volunteers who all do an incredible job working for the Trust. A challenging but incredibly rewarding place to work and volunteer thats for sure!
