Kenward Will Change Lives Ball
Kim Webster and her son Will
A huge thank you to everyone who supported Kenward’s Will Change Lives Ball
Kenward Trust was proud to host our very first Kenward Will Change Lives Ball, on 15th March 2025 at the Mercure Hotel, Maidstone.
Our mission was to raise awareness and funds to support our Youth Services Team who run life saving intervention and prevention Think Differently programs in schools around Kent. We are truly grateful to all the generous people and companies who supported the event and helped our mission come true!
The event was held in memory of Will, Kim Webster’s son who tragically died July 2018 from experimental drug misuse one night. Kim is our Youth Executive who helps to deliver the Intervention talks in schools around Kent. What happened to Will, is every parent’s worst nightmare. He had a bright future ahead of him in the Army, he had just successfully completed his army assessment and was ready to start his lifelong dream.
One night he went out with a friend and after a few drinks they were offered Tramadol as a recreational high. His friend survived but tragically Will had a reaction and died. This goes to show that drug experimentation can be literally like the flip of a coin, heads you’re ok, tails you are not.

The Ball
This spectacular event was a night to remember, filled with glitz, glamour, and a cause that warmed everyone’s heart.
There was music, dancing and a delectable two-course meal. But the true highlight of the night was the abundance of fundraising fun, where everyone generously contributed to Kenward Trust's mission.
Guests truly were dressed to impress and let their inner divas shine. The room was lit up with gold and glamorous attire and a full dancefloor with guests dancing the night away. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and really made a difference.
