After graduating from the University of Westminster in 1988 with a BA in Business Studies and Accounting, Paul ran finance teams in a lift installation company, a stockbroker and finally an insurance claims management business. He acquired a part ownership of the latter, GAB Robins, and was a Board Director and CFO of the business which had turnover of approx £90m. He guided the business through a Pension Deficit compromise and sale to a competitor. Paul remained with the company post-sale to oversee integration and US regulatory compliance (SOX) approval. He left in 2017 and now provides consultancy services to two ongoing clients as well as ad-hoc services.

Paul enjoys being outdoors, walking with his two dogs, photography, sailing and badminton. He lives in Sevenoaks with his wife; they have two children currently away at University.
