Sue Plummer

Sue’s background is in clinical practice, research and education. She has a BA in Nursing Education, MSc in Clinical Mental Health Nursing, MSc in Epidemiology and PhD in Psychiatry. Sue was awarded a Medical Research Council (MRC) Post Doctoral Research Fellowship for 4 years. During this time she spent 3 months in the Sydney Drug and Alcohol Research Centre. Her MRC research study was a cohort study of alcohol misuse in patients attending practice nurse clinics. She is currently the Deputy Lead Governor at Medway Maritime NHS Foundation Trust and a member of Rochester Cathedral Business Guild Steering Group. Sue is a Trustee for Abigails Footsteps and the Halpern Charitable Foundation Trust. She is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Canterbury Christ Church University.
