Caroline's fundraiser for The Kenward Trust
Kenward Trust is so happy to share that Caroline Woods, the sister of Kim Webster, a key member of Kenward’s Think Differently team, is running the Whitstable & Herne Bay 1/2 marathon on Sunday, 22nd March 2026, to raise money for the Kenward Trust.
A message from Caroline:
“I will be running the Whitstable & Herne Bay 1/2 marathon in memory of my nephew Will, who sadly passed away in 2018, leaving a huge hole in our family.
Sports mad Will was due to start his dream career in the army that September. Before his arrival at Sandhurst, he told his Mum - my sister Kim - he wanted a summer of fun, before the hard work would begin. Unfortunately, his natural curiosity and derring-do ended in tragedy, and he died after a night out with friends after taking a prescription painkiller for fun.
Somehow, out of this awful tragedy, my sister has managed to find the strength and resolve to visit schools across Kent, giving talks to pupils about the devastating effects such a momentary loss of judgement can have on a family. Now in her 8th year and working with the Kenward Trust, Kim and her colleague Andy, speak regularly at schools as well as out-reach work, having spoken to approximately 65,000 teenagers in the county. £300 to Kenward Trust covers the cost of 1 school visit.
Thank you for your support.
