Thank You for Helping Us Raise £23,000 to Support Our Vital Youth Work in Schools

Kenward Will Save Lives Ball - 07.03.26

The Kenward Trust team is incredibly proud of the success of our Kenward Will Save Lives Ball, held on Saturday 7th March 2026. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, sponsored and supported us, an amazing £23,000 was raised to fund our Think Differently schools programme.

Last year’s fundraising enabled us to develop our new Think Differently Junior programme, created in response to the worrying rise in children under 12 becoming involved with drugs. This new early‑intervention programme will help us reach children sooner, giving them the knowledge and support they need to stay safe from substance misuse and long‑term harm. Your support truly is saving lives.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all the organisations that donated auction prizes, and to our fantastic event sponsors KM Media Group and Lester Brunt Wealth Management. A special thank you goes to our BNI Pioneer Maidstone family for their support on the night, and to the talented young performers from Leigh Academy Rainham who made the evening extra special.

We were honoured to welcome the High Sheriff of Kent, who presented our Head of Youth Services, John Shanley, with the prestigious High Sheriff’s Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the community.

Our deepest thanks also go to Kim Webster, Natalie Parrish, Rhian Bermingham, Triple A Events and Colin Umbers for organising such an incredible evening, and to Toby Winson for courageously sharing his story. The night was expertly hosted by Paul Andrews and Tony Dibbin, with brilliant entertainment from Charlie Hewish, Magician.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back next year—date to be announced soon!

Please email Elaine.Terry@kenwardtrust.org.uk if you would like to sponsor next years event.

Thank you once again for standing with us, supporting our work, and helping us change young lives for the better.
