Local Business Leaders Take on Three Peaks Challenge to Support Kenward Trust Youth Services
A team of local business leaders from BNI Pioneer Maidstone are preparing to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Kenward Trust’s youth services, helping young people make informed choices about alcohol, drugs and risk-taking behaviours.
From 9–11 October 2026, the team will tackle Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Wales – three mountains and hundreds of miles of travelling in support of the Kent-based charity.
Funds raised will support Kenward Trust’s Think Differently programme, which uses powerful real-life stories and lived experience to educate young people about alcohol and substance misuse, peer pressure, exploitation and the impact addiction can have on individuals, families and communities.
During the 2024/25 academic year, Think Differently was delivered in 49 secondary schools across Kent, reaching 12,187 pupils. Through honest, age-appropriate conversations, the programme encourages young people to reflect on their choices, build resilience and self-awareness, and develop the confidence to make safer, healthier decisions for their future.
Kenward Trust was also named joint Mental Health Charity of the Year at the 2026 Kent Charity Awards, recognising the charity’s wider work supporting people across Kent.
Ahead of the challenge, Kenward Trust and BNI Pioneer Maidstone are inviting local businesses to become £500 Challenge Sponsors.
Sponsors will receive recognition throughout the campaign, including their company logo on fundraising graphics, social media mentions and tags before, during and after the challenge, inclusion in participant and Kenward Trust content, and recognition in post-event communications.
