Kenward Will Change Lives Ball

Kenward Trust fundraising "Will Change Lives Ball" enabling Life-Saving Youth Intervention and Prevention Services in Schools

Wil Horley and Kim Webster

Kenward Trust is proud to announce its first ever charity ball. In an effort to raise awareness and vital funds for its life-saving youth intervention and prevention programs, Kenward Trust is thrilled to be hosting the inaugural Kenward Will Change Lives Ball. This spectacular evening will take place on Saturday, 15th March 2025, at the Mercure Hotel, Maidstone

The event is being held in memory of Will Horley, the beloved son of the Trust’s Youth Executive, Kim Webster, whose tragic story underscores the urgent need for intervention and education work in schools. At just 17 years old, Will’s life was cut short in 2018 after experimenting with drugs. What happened to Will is a heartbreaking reminder that drug misuse can have devastating consequences, even from a single, seemingly innocuous decision. His story, shared by Kim through our "Think Differently" program, has already impacted thousands of young lives.

The "Will Change Lives Ball" promises to be an evening of glitz, glamour, and heartfelt purpose open for all to enjoy. Guests will enjoy a stunning evening complete with:

  • An arrival drink to kick off the festivities.

  • A two-course meal designed to delight.

  • An exciting auction with exclusive items to raise funds for Kenward Trust.

  • A disco to dance the night away in celebration of hope and change.

The dress code is formal, with a theme of blue and gold, symbolizing strength and hope. Tickets are priced at £55 per person or £500 for a table of ten, with all proceeds directly supporting Kenward Trust’s vital youth services. www.kenwardtrust.org.uk

A Legacy of Prevention: Kenward in the Community

Kenward Trust’s mission is clear for this fundraising ball: “Our community thrives when young people thrive. Help us create a brighter future by supporting drug and alcohol education.”

Watch the video of our Think Differently Poem, this powerful poem will be featured at the event as a reminder of the devastating grip of addiction and the hope that prevention brings.

To purchase tickets or explore sponsorship opportunities can be found on our website.   Let’s come together for an unforgettable evening and change lives—because every young person deserves the chance to make better choices.

Appealing for Auction Prizes

In order to help raise funds on the night, and to add excitement, Kenward are hosting a Live Auction on the night. Kenward are appealing to local people and businesses to kindly donate exciting prizes for attendees to bid on.

Every pound made at the Ball will be going directly to providing Kenward’s Youth Services into schools in Kent and Medway. Please email hetty.palmer@kenwardtrust.org.uk if you can donate a prize.
